a ‘must have’ top

We recently received a top at the home office that is part of our transition into Fall. The ladies around the office just cannot get enough of it! Our 3/4 sleeve stripe henley features a fun ‘sharkbite’ or ‘scarf’ hem. A ‘sharkbite’ hem means that the bottom hem of the shirt is uneven…the sides will be a little longer than the front or the back-as if a shark took a bite out of the bottom! All 5 ladies in our office have this top. We each wear it a hundred different ways and there are quite a few different styles and age brackets represented among the ladies in our office. This top pairs perfectly with a straight leg pant, bermuda shorts, jean shorts or a long maxi skirt. This top works as a great basic since it is a black and white stripe. A lot of times stripes can act as a neutral item and you can pair a stripe with a print or a solid. Have fun mixing it up!

one of our faves…

If you are anything like I am, you always love to save your loose change for a big purchase such as a great pair of shoes! (This is Ashley talking by the way, I am the shoe buyer and merchandising manager for Go Fish.) Not too long ago we received the most adorable coin banks from India. Each one is crafted by artisans in Calcutta from hand tooled and hand painted leather. And get this…they are only $24!

 

I personally think that it is so fitting I put my ‘shoe fund’ in the peacock coin bank! Our tiny co-worker Audrey, whom  you have already met in a previous post, loves the owl. We also would like to add that Audrey is now walking! She certainly is making the rounds to make sure we are all working to her specifications…and she usually has the owl coin bank with her. Audrey’s mom, Natalie, is our Assistant Clothing Buyer…I am sure you can tell since Audrey looks right on trend with her vibrant stripe dress!

Okay, back to our new leather goods…crafted by the same artisans we have coin trays that are key chains and small coin trays that are in the shape of starfish, elephants and a menagerie of other animals! One of our favorites at the home office are the wallet styles. There is a gorgeous paisley wallet that you must see!

One of our favorite ‘co-workers’ at the Service Center is a very special one year old named Audrey Sophia. She is a hard worker, and she doesn’t put up with much slack from her co-workers either. You can always count on her to crawl into your office for a quick visit. She loves her ‘co-pooch’ Gabby too! They are truly partners in crime.

 

As you can tell, they are quite the pair! It was all we could do to get Audrey to stay still for the picture, we figured it was a lost cause to have both of the subjects still for the photo.
