Store Spotlight: Sarasota

Last Friday, we had our official ribbon cutting ceremony at our newest store in Sarasota, Florida! 

Located on the southwestern coast, Sarasota is surrounded by pristine beaches, wonderful restaurants, arts & culture, historic sites (like the Sarasota Opera House), and local shops. We are absolutely in love with the Sarasota atmosphere and all that it has to offer. Be sure to visit us when you are in town! We’d love to meet you.

Free Burlap Bag!

Happy Wednesday! Today is April 25th  which means "Free Burlap Bag" day at Go Fish! This year marks our 25th year in business and we are celebrating every month on the 25th with an awesome event. So hurry & scoop one up today!

Audrey the Artist

2012 marks 25 years for Go Fish! We are so proud of the store owners, the talented artisans we have partnered with and the faithful customers who not only believe in what we do but have been the driving force of GF the past quarter century!  In true Go Fish style we are not having one party to celebrate, we are having twelve of them. One each month.

Last month we held a family event at each GF location. We encouraged our customers to stop by with their little ones. We had play stations set-up at each store. Kids were entertained while parents shopped. We had coloring pages that each kid could color and if they left their coloring page with us they received a Go Fish friendship bracelet!

So what did we do with all those coloring pages? Ashley, our merchandising manager extraordinaire, had an amazing plan up her sleeve. The stores were going to use the coloring pages for their April window display!

This fabulous window displays required lots of coloring pages, so we decided to help out and color a few here at the home office.

Miss Audrey came by to visit. It is always fun having her around. She keeps everyone on their toes. She is definitely a hard worker like her mom (Natalie-our designer & buyer). She jumped right in & helped color some pages. She is an awesome little artist. She had a few tricks up her sleeve, like using 2 crayons at once! So smart!!

Happy 25th!!!

Well…in case you haven’t heard this year is our 25th Anniversary and we are celebrating it in a big way. On the 25th of each month this year, stop into one of our 12 locations for special promotions, give-aways, or events. We will also be hosting special promotions on our website so if you can’t make it to a store, be sure to check in out as well. January and February proved to be fun and exciting and we can’t wait to share what’s in store for the rest of the year. We’d love to have your help to get our name and mission out there, so feel free to “like” us on Facebook and share our mission with your friends – your local store even has their own Facebook page. That way you can keep up to date with all things Go Fish!

One more exciting event we’d like to share is our travel plans for this spring! Most store will be hosting a trunk show in their stores to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. At each trunk show, you’ll be able to get a sneak preview of our Spring and Summer 2012 clothing and jewelry lines, PLUS you will have a chance to meet the designer and stylist for Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Company. Our first trunk show is scheduled for March 8th in Marietta, GA; so if you are in the Atlanta area be sure to stop by and say hi. We will be visiting stores throughout March, April, and May so be sure to check with your local store for specifics. We hope to see your smiling faces and that you enjoy our 25th Anniversary celebration!

Yesterday marked the start of our Red Tag Sale! We have hundreds of items throughout the store that are 50% off the original price. Just look for the red tags!
