Shoes & Hamburgers

Happy Tuesday! I seriously cannot get enough of this weather! There are a million reasons as to why I love spring! Here are two:

1. FLIP-FLOPS. SANDALS. WEDGES. Oh my!
I love slipping on my warm weather shoes. My feet can finally come out of hibernation! I recently acquired Go Fish's Weekend Wedge. I love the neutral color, the braided detail & the comfort! I was actually surprised as to how comfortable they really are. The height is perfect! At 3.5", I feel confident! I love wedges because I'm vertically challenged (short), however am constantly disappointed because many are just way too high for me to attempt to walk in. Thank you Ashley (our shoe buyer) for getting these! You made my spring! These will go perfect with both my skinny jeans & new summer Go Fish maxi that I'm patiently waiting for ever since Natalie (fashion buyer) showed me the sample! I seriously cannot wait for our summer shipment to get here.

2. GRILLED BURGERS
Having recently moved into our first "home", my hubby made it clear that it was only natural that we get a grill. He was right (don't tell him I said that). There is nothing more delicious than a freshly grilled burger (2nd place: Five Guys) on a breezy cool spring afternoon. Here's one of my hubby's masterpieces.

We are big on seasoning. We often use Williams-Sonoma grilling rubs. They are delish! My hubby thinks I'm a bit crazy, because I like to pre-pre-season our meat with Adobo and/or Sazon! I have to constantly remind him that I am Hispanic and that not using Adobo/Sazon goes against everything I know. I strongly believe that my chili got so many compliments from our church chili cook-off this year due to my addition of Sazon (keep in mind: 1. I rarely cook & 2.That was the first time I ever made chili).

Our new spring clothing styles are hitting stores soon. They will be on the website this Friday. Here's a sneak peak. We love this sweetheart dress. The color is is stunning and perfect for spring. The peek-a-boo back detail is uber chic. The pockets are awesome!
